HET
TRAINING
It
is possible to train as a practitioner /therapist in HET
and progress on to being a trainer of practitioners.
This
programme has been written within the framework of
National Occupational Standards (generic template) for
complementary medicine, as produced by Skills for
Health. Currently further accreditation under process at
a leading university for Foundation Degree level status
for practitioners and post graduate status for trainers
.
The 'Train the Trainers' Package, with the management and
quality assurance model is now available.
HET
therapists and trainers are members of The HET
Foundation. Qualified
practitioners are able to regularly update their
skills by attending workshops on the continuous
professional development programme.

THIS
PROGRAMME OF TRAINING IS A SELF DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY
WHICH ADDRESSES THE WOUNDED INNER CHILD ISSUES WITHIN
THE PRACTITIONER. A WILLINGNESS TO COMMIT TO THIS
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF
THE TRAINING. FOR THIS REPRESENTS THE JOURNEY THAT EACH CLIENT
AND THEIR FAMILY MAKE WITHIN THE HET PROCESS. |

OUTLINE OF PROGRAMME:
The programme
is able to be customised to the needs of how HET is to
be delivered. The example given below is to run over 12 sessions, delivered
throughout one year on a monthly basis. This is
in the format of 12 x 1 day core workshop
sessions. In addition to this it would be necessary to
make accompanied 3 x assessment visits with each
candidate. These should take ½ day each visit and the
final visit will be accompanied by a verifier.
A
minimum of three case studies are required to build a
portfolio.
Candidate commitment is estimated at
72 hours contact time over 12 core session + 3 x
½ day accompanied visits + 100 hours field work
application to be integrated into the working
environment.
It
is anticipated that the programme run as indicated on
the following dates, which are to be confirmed at the
beginning of the programme.
