ADD or Attention Deficit Disorder is largely misunderstood, for a start, how do you know if your child has it?

The honest answer is that it can be difficult to diagnose what is ADD behaviour and normal children's behaviour, even the medical profession are divided on the issue.

Symptoms include lack of focus, lack of motivation and short attention span to mention just a few.

This website has a very different take on these behaviours  to most others -  but the approaches used deliver unprecendented results. The condition is about the wiring in the brain and it's a little bit like driving your car at 70 mph in first gear.

Because the planet is changing ( it's very speed or vibrational frequency has nearly doubled over the past 25 years), the times are a changing, but sadly our systems in society are not....

Our children are not only our future and the planetary future but they are our barometer for change. We chose no to listen at our peril....

To help explain some of the issues I have included some articles below on ADD

ADD Medication:

ADD medication? Do we take it? Do we need it? Is it the best thing for me, or my child? What are the side effects of this? Is this the only way forward from here?

Symptoms of ADD

It is characterized by adults and very often children, not functioning to their full potential. Often the sufferer with ADD will be unable to communicate in an appropriate way.

Attention Deficit Disorder or ADD is increasing and no-one really knows why.

Think about those times you have gone upstairs to get something and by the time you have got to the top you have forgotten what it was. Imagine what it might be like to be like that all the time. Imagine what it might be like to not be able to sit and watch a TV programme through from beginning to the end.

"Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls belong in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them,
but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children
as living arrows are sent forth".

-Kahlil Gibran
